#82 SO SORRY Read Count : 33

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
Not a true story but sure it has happened.

The iron door clangs shut and I'm here all alone
The visitors are gone and I can't go home
I sit on my bunk feeling down and so sad
I'm sorry I say for the mistake I made so bad
But the deed has been done they all say
No, I won;t just sit here until it comes my day
I'll make the best of it and learn all I can
Acquiring skills to help me in the outside not to bend
When I can leave this place and meet at the gate
The family who loves me and for me did wait
I promise I say to them as I leave this behind
I'll never do something again for which I may do time
