#101 TREE CANOPY Read Count : 111

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
I love the Live Oak trees with their great spreading arms,
So gracefully decorated with Spanish Moss and its charms,
Reaching out so wide covering way over the road,
Meeting the other side making a canopy of trees in a grove.
While riding right through a canopy it feels ever so cool,
Without the hot sunshine like what is over a pool.
The birds way up high have nested in their branches,
While the cows and horses stand by at their ranches.
I’m filled with amazement, as I’m peacefully content
Being so cozy inside of these great trees that are bent.
