Put a stamp on a letter and you can send it very far.
It sure is a lot easier than driving it in a car.
So much time has been spent on each work of art,
Which makes the stamp on a letter such a beautiful part.
Philatelist scamper for each new postal edition.
Which adds to their collection they’re making with conviction.
Every stamp made they would like to have in their fold.
Except some are expensive and may be rare or very old.
So when you get a letter, don’t throw that stamp away,
For saving for collectors will really brighten their day.
And if for a charity you have some stamps to give,
They can make you so happy to help a missionary live.
