#93 A FIELD OF DAISIES Read Count : 107

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
Daisies in an open field
Are blowing in the wind
Wanting to walk in the middle
On second thought I don;t give in

White ones with yellow centers
Are seen with a dewy glow
Others have brown centers
With petals of gold that show

I'd pick a single flower and
Hope the petals will show
If he loves me, it may be yes
Or maybe it will be no

I don't want to disturb God's beauty
By picking a single flower
With beautiful sunshine on them
Many will be delighted this hour

So join me by closing your eyes
And picturing a field of green
With daises, white and yellow
bowing in the breeze with gleam
