A holiday is a wonderful way to give yourself a treat,
Lie in the sun, read a book, or go out somewhere to eat.

Watch a parade, or go to the park, or have a barbecue.
Go fishing at the lake, or feed the animals at the zoo.

Maybe a good movie is playing down the street,
Or you have some friends you are anxious to meet.

There are so many fun things that for you will enthrall,
Like a walk in the dark, or a shopping trip to the mall.

So do what you like on this great holiday to please.
For this you'll surely be able to do with such ease.
