#98 A CIRCUS Read Count : 93

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
A circus is a show that is played out in three rings
As a clown to the children so much laughter brings
Some animals may seem scary as they romp and roar
Their trainers seem to know how to keep order in store
Elephants standing on hind legs with tails joined in a row
With trapeze artists swinging over head to and fro
The ring master is announcing each and every act
A he is trying to keep the whole show in tack
Every which way there is so much commotion
I'm looking this way and that for the latest promotion
Then it's the finale and the cast is gathering all around
Soon it will be time for the lights and tents to come down
But I'm all wrapped up in all the excitement this night
With glitter of costumes shining in my mind so bright
