Belt out a song and don't care who hears it
Singing can bring smiles to your face
It doesn't matter whether in church you sit
Or at home in your favorite place

Songs are so uplifting in times of trouble
Listen to the words as you sing out a chorus
Get into the music singing on the double
So don't just sit there looking like a Taurus

Sing Happy Birthday to your friend of choice
Who cares if people are recording
As you try to sort out each and every voice
Over the celebration is what you;ll be lording

Sing in the shower as loud as you want
No one will hear you as the water resounds
But then maybe you just might want to be blunt
And let everyone hear it who surrounds

So whether you are gifted or squeak or bray
Remember God endowed you with this musical voice
So give it back and belt out a chorus anyway
For the beautiful music you'll make will God's choice.
