#85 A SAILBOAT Read Count : 110

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
There's a boat on the lake with sails so white
It makes such a beautiful and peaceful sight
The wind's puffing the sails out and pulling it along
People are sitting in the boat just singing a song
It's so quiet out there except for a gentle wave
When the wind picks up, we hope their sails behave
While moving along with such grace and style
An afternoon on t he water can be relaxing for awhile
As dusk comes in and the sunset is so bright
Orange-red skies are so pretty against the sails so white
Slowing the sailboat glides right into the shore
As they hop out, the pretty sunset they all adore
