Magdalene is awoken by the sound of Tinkers down stairs,she mutters some inaudible words of disgust!she goes to one corner of of the room where are cooking items are kept!she stumbles on a pot which contains left over food from yesterday's supper. She walks briskly to the general kitchen at the back of the house to warm the left over meal!Life,s never been easy on Magdalene,having being raised by her divorced mother who never had her time, she never for once enjoyed her childhood!At the tender age of 15 she had to drop out of Junior School,because mama as she fondly called her mum remarried.
   She was then sent to stay with her grandma who is widely known for her marijuana business,at a Tender age she, s been exposed to smoking and drinking!No one not even her grandma cared to give her all the love she desired!Pondering on this fact she had become a short Tempered and depressed young lady! 
    Two years after she was sent to stay with grandma Maria, grandma passed on living her to take care of the marijuana business,Magdalene then at the tender age of 17 became grandma,s next of kin!But hell was let loose when drug officials invaded the cartel detaining everyone one found there including Magdalene!
  Magdalene had to serve a two year jail term with hard labour!But the prison made her a more hardened person!
    But today,s going to mark a huge difference in Magdalene,s life!After having breakfast she sets to her shop where she sales dry gin and cigarettes!on approaching her shop she sights broad chested men destroying her only source of lively hood! She rushes down to them and,asking them why the demolition.
   Then she's told a shopping mall is to be built on the space she and other traders are occupying!Tears covers her eye lids!So am starting from square one again she mutters to herself! 
 Why is life so unfair and keep getting worse? Why is the rich getting richer and the poor more misery? If we are all equal when then are people, s left over another person's gold? All these she  mutters to her self and weeps all the way home!
   She takes two bottles of dry gin and drinks them all up!After been highly intoxicated she sets for home!she,s lost in thought, then she bumps into a fast approaching car! 
    Few days later she finds her self in the hospital tries to move her legs but they are numb! 
   Now she, s a cripple begging along the streets to survive!
