I keep on mu calendar such daily events
As birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays immense

Daily I jot little things down that I have found
Happy times I've had and things I've done, I put down

That doctor appointment that I had to keep
Or the sad or happy memories that may make me weep

Without my calendar I could never remember
The time I put the fertilizer down in September

Nor could I remember when I last took my pills
Or when the new doctor asks me for my past ills

All things I have recorded each and every day

All coming together making a diary of my life
With thanksgiving for blessings and getting through strife
