#81 A SEED Read Count : 40

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
What good, it is a seed if it lies scorching on the ground
Or if the wind blows it scattering all around

Without sinking in and taking a good hold
A seed is worthless and lies there so cold

A seed should be planted into the earth
With sunshine and rain it now can have birth

Into a mighty Oak a seed may just grow
Or with good things to eat, it may soon overflow

Seeds of love can be planted into our heart
With love from another, its' growth soon may start

All kinds of good things can come from a seed
Wishing and wanting will not fill its need

Whenever you plant a seed hoping it will grow
Remember to nourish it if you want this to be so

And if you have the faith of a tiny mustard seed
Your seeds will be growing as fast as a week
