#84 A BASEBALL GAME Read Count : 151

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
A crack of the bat and the ball sails over the fence,
Sitting on these hot bleachers doesn't seem to make sense

But down on t he field, there goes my son
With Dad as his coach, they sure are to have fun

My son is running and heading home from third base
While I'm standing and clapping with a smile on my face

I'm so proud, all the world can surely see
This baseball game is good for them and for me

Teamwork my son's learning and good sportsmanship
For life as a grown-up this game will help equip

He'll learn to always do his very, very best
Building self-esteem with life full of zest
