Will YOU  be there when my life is troubling?
Will YOU be there when my life is bubbling?

Will YOU be there the first day of school?
Will YOU be there when I get taken for a fool?

Will YOU  be there when I'm on my first date?
Will YOU be there when I'm choosing a mate?

Will YOU be there when my children are born?
Will YOU be there when I get up at dawn?

Will YOU be there when I'm out in a car?
Will YOU be there when I travel far?

Will YOU be there when I am tempted?
Will YOU be there when my heart is emptied?

Will YOU be there when my body grows weak?
Will YOU be there at heaven's gate to meet?

As I'm in prayer with YOU LORD up above,
I know the answers are all yes, because YOU so love.
