A birthday is a day to really celebrate,
A beautiful life began on that special date.
So don't fear it or be sad or sour,
For it was a very special moment and hour.

Many good memories you've saved.
Add this birthday to the ones you have made.
Blow out the candles and cut up the cake.
Let others share in the joy of this date.

Open your gifts and you will surely see
The love of your friends and your family.
I used to fear when a birthday came near,
Now I thank God I was able to have one this year.
