Oh, what a beautiful day to lounge by the pool
The air is a bit warm but the water is so cool.
After awhile I am ready for a cool swim.
First I'll swim laps I say as I jump  in,
Then I'll float on my back with elegant style
Looking at the great blue sky for awhile.
I see birds, butterflies and airplanes flying by,
As I'm, floating and resting I say with a sigh.
Then it's back to my chair to read a good book.
Then maybe I'll just lie here and look.
For everyone in the pool is having such fun,
But I'd better watch out lest I get too much sun.
So then it's back home to shower and eager to eat.
I feel all rested from enjoying a day so sweet.
