In this world you are likely to meet
Many great friends that are ever so sweet.
But there is no friend that can compare
With a very best friend who is always there.

If you have two best friends to give your life a lift.
A lot of thanks to God you should give for this gift.
A burden is always lighter when two people share,
And a second friend is a blessing to be there.

I'm one of these very, very lucky persons
Who has two best friends of which I am certain.
For over the years we have shared our heart and soul,
And we know we'll always be together as we grow old.
