#62 A STORM Read Count : 143

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
Up comes a black cloud and a storm is a brewing.
The dogs are barking and the cows begin mooing.

I wonder what kind of power this storm has been storing.
I see flashes of light and thunder is roaring.

A tornado I sure hope does not come near us.
Wind is whirring and whirring in circles of dust.

Whatever kind of storm I better take shelter.
Everyone begins running helter and skelter.

As steam rises up from the oh, so warm ground.
Then the rain begins teaming and pouring down.

Soon a rainbow comes out as the rain clouds are freed.
Oh, it's just a summer shower which we really need.

And soon the flowers and grasses and such have grown.
Once again I thank God for this beautiful home.
