#49 EAGLES NEST Read Count : 118

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
A cypress tree stands at the edge of the Spring,
And I’m so glad my binoculars I did bring.
For at the top of that great and very tall tree
Is an Eagle’s nest with baby birds looking down at me.
The Cypress is so beautiful, great, and majestic,
And so are the parent Eagles who in it have nested.
They fly with wings spreading out so wide in the sky,
They look and then they dive for some fish that they spy.
I could sit here in the park and watch them all day,
But it will take quite awhile for the babies to fly away.
