My roses are blooming, yes I can see As I look through the window and shout out with glee. The red ones, the yellow, the pink ones and white; Oh, my! Do they make such a beautiful sight? My rose bushes were all presents given with love. And tendered and cared for with some help from above. As I pick a small bud with aroma and dew, I say maybe just one more bloom or maybe two. Then I say I can’t stand it you see, I must have a vase full of Roses for me. For wherever my roses are, I surely see the love. And though I picked some, I know from above Tomorrow there will be more roses for me and my beau. Because God is so generous with nature and love I just know. © Copyright 1997 by Jean E. Gorney
