- CHAPTER 1 - I didn't want to lose her... She was my light. She brought light to all the things around her. Especially, me... But now that she's gone, what am I going to do without my light? I'm getting quite ahead of myself, am I? Let's start from the beginning then... ~ OCTOBER 15, 2017 ~ "It's snowing! Oh my gosh, let's go outside Troy!" She said, grabbing her gloves and pushing open the door. I chuckled to myself because of my best friends excitement. I grabbed my jacket and gloves to follow her outside. "Hey, wait up, Lacey!" I yelled to her while she was just running to the Christmas Tree that was not yet finished. "Woah, Lace... You're pretty fast for a girl, huh?" I looked over at her and she was just staring at the Christmas Tree. She looked amazed I was confused because the Christmas Tree was not yet finished but then it hit me. She's amazed because of the colors and how tall the Christmas Tree was. I stood there in silence, staring at her. I took the chance to gaze at her lovable features. Black Dark Hair that was in a Ponytail, Blue Eyes that were sparkling of amazement, and Pale Pinkish Lips that still shines. I thought to myself, 'How did I managed to befriend this beauty?' I still hadn't got the answer for that. She suddenly spoke. "That Christmas Tree. Isn't it beautiful? It seems as though it is waiting to be finished in the beautiful snow. It's color glowing brightly as to emphasize its beauty in the snow. I've noticed that it seems as though it knows that when it is finished, it will shine brightly, as beautiful as the stars at night. It's like a dream waiting to be pursued by a person who has that determination." I looked at her amazed by how she said all of those words. "Yeah, you are right." Was all I could say. I couldn't match up with her beautiful sets of words. She took off her gaze from the Tree and looked at me with dazzling eyes. "Let's decorate the tree someday, okay?" She smiled brightly, as if knowing my answer would be yes I couldn't and will not take off that beautiful smile off her face. "Of course, Lacey." I smiled back at her. She grinned. "Yay! Thanks, Troy!" After that, we went walking around and playing with the snow as if we were still kids. Oh, how I wish we were still like that today... But God had other plans for her. And that plan... Killed her... - END OF CHAPTER 1 - Written by: Agatha B.
