Our school has a lot of kids in it
All coming and going and stuff
Some kids are old, and some are brand new
And the new kids sure do have it tough

You've got to watchful at lunchtime
Making sure that you do watch yourself 
You don't want to upset certain people 
Some might be a danger to your health

And one of the new kids was Stacy
She had such thick lovely hair
Her face it was nearly perfect
Except for her single hard stare

Cause Stacy just had one eyeball
Right in the middle of her face
It was easy to look right at Stacy
With one eye, there was no other place

The girls, well they were all so jealous
The boys were slightly confused 
Teachers tried not to make snap judgements
 (but they thought that her eyeballs were fused)

Not only was she very pretty
But Stacy was also quite smart
But when asked for the answers to problems
For Stacy, that was the hard part

Cause Stacy just wasn't a talker
One could say her voice was just like a squeak
She never ever got loud with it
But still, it was like hearing a shriek

All that she ever wanted 
The one thing that would give her a grin
Was to be just like one of the girls
To be liked and to really fit in

But school can be tough for the different
Life there can really be hard
It's not easy to be just like the others
Sometimes your feelings you guard

So Stacy was teased by some bully
She really couldn't figure out why
Just someone made fun of her eyeball
Just some older middle school guy

Of course, it never helped with her last name
Some people just simply were cruel
The bully made fun of her last name
So Stacy turned him into a mule

Well, a donkey is really more like it
He developed quite a taste for grass
He wandered around the campus
Cause Stacy thought him an ass 

So Stacy found herself in some trouble
For changing a student at school
They said it was all his fault alright
But the punishment was unjust for a fool

So her parents were called to come get her
And when they showed up, they were feared
Because no matter how nice that they were 
It was said that “her family was Weird!”
