I'm searching my dark
Exploring deeper inside
I've been afraid of going in further
Afraid of what I would find
But you make me want to explore my darkness like there's nothing to be afraid of
You've accepted me as I am
You don't want to change me but you want to know more about me
It's given me the courage to seek more of myself
Darker, deeper
I've walked past the asylum the freaks in their cells but I've been too afraid to let them fully take over
I feel the good & evil tugging me around
They've such an equal part of me
I explored the good but I only felt worse
Now it's time to take your hand as we explore the very depths of you & I
Together in the dark
