Bill Palmer, in his Palmer Report today, offered an unlikely yet amazingly interesting scenario that could prevent Fake President from provoking war with North Korea and get the Senate's Russian investigation into high gear. The three Republican Senators that spoke truth to power, McCain, Flake and Corker could declare themselves independents and caucus with the Democrats. This would give the Democrats the majority and cause Mitch McConnell to yield Senate leadership to Schumer. With McConnell out of control, he would not be able to foot drag the Russian investigation. He has been foot dragging because of his personal campaign contributions from Russian oligarchs and protecting his wife's job as Secretary of Transportation in Fake President's cabinent. He actually hates Fake President but is forced to carry water for him due to his corrupt conduct and self serving interests. Sadly, none of this will likely happen, but a boy can dream, right?
