Charles Bliss loaded his two six guns, twirled them as he slide them back into his low slung holsters. He had a bounty to collect and nothing would stop him this time. Cautiously, he listened at the door of his room before slowly opening the door. It creaked softly, but loud enough that to alert a trained ear. Bliss waited a second before opening the door the rest of the way. The soft dawn sunlight shone in through the windows. Bliss kept to the shadows to ensure he could sneak out and track his prey before anyone else awoke. Yesterday he woke the woman in the next room which cost him a day of tracking. He had to get out of the place unnoticed for his hunt to be a success. He wanted to keep his mission a secret to avoid complications later down the track. Bliss made it to the exit of the building before anyone else woke this time. He opened the door and stepped out onto the wooden porch without making any of the old, wooden floorboards creak. Once he got to his stead he would be on his way to track down the wanted culprit he'd been after for a month now. He swung his leg over his stead and.... "Charles James Bliss," a woman's voice thundered from a window on the second floor. "You've dropped water all down the hall again." Bliss didn't even get a chance to start peddling his bike before his mother was out the front door and with her fingers gripped tightly on his ear lobe. "How many times have I told you not to fill your water pistols inside the house!" Bliss was lifted off his push bike and disarmed before he had a chance to reply. "But mum.." he started. "You're not going to chase the neighbours cat down the road again. Old Mr Jones told me you soaked his cat to the bone last time you played cowboys." Tomorrow, Bliss thought, I'll fill them up outside.
