Things that people don't know about Islam. I know that there is a lot of things people my think about Islam, but the thing is there are things that you don't know. Islam is a faith of piece and love, Allah made it that way so we could be a light to the world. The other thing that you may not know is that Prophet Mummand my Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, was an orphan at a young age and raised by his uncle. He was trained as a marchent. He didn't do to bad as a marchent but his first wife Kadisha a very wealthy woman land owner and the first one to revert to Islam. So to those who say that woman in Islam is are opressed that is far from the truth. The hijab and the full cover is a choice that women in Islam make for themselves. There is a beautiful story about the the prophet my Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. About him take one of his wives to mosque to see a martial arts team from Africa to who was putting on a demo there. Aisha wanted to see them so prophet Mummand my Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. Aisha was not covered as they walked down the street. Once they got to the mosque but could not go into the mosque because she was not covered but the prophet stood at the door and she looked over his shoulder. So you see that even the prophets wife was free to make her own choice.
