An eternity it seems
But you grace us with your presence

You say hello in your own way
The conversation short
But full of enlightenment

We look into your eyes with loving smiles
Filled with joy to finally meet you

Counting every toe and ever finger
Knowing just how precious you truly are

As we watch you cry and look around
We can't help but know
We will love you forever

Together the three of us will share
We'll laugh and have fun
But more than anything we'll love you first
