Her blood stains her sheet.
 Pain only curred with heat.

Her stomach swells, her body contracts.
That old body's not.

She's alone, now with a kid of her own
Her very own flesh, blood, bone.

He won't get hurt the same ways 
 Instead it'll be a daze 
A trace for him, to day to day 
Waiting for his mom's stories to go away
