Everyone wonders what is next after death. Some speculate eternal life of happiness, and some believe of reincarnation... But for us it wasn't how we imagined it. We are the living dead... Hell is not open to all, and we are condemned to walk the very earth while our soul remains in our decaying body... My name is Demi... And here is my story.

Chapter 1 The hidden truth

Walking in darkness...
Darkness... Its cold... And its peaceful... (A woman can be heard humming) This tune... Elena?
Elena! Where are you!? Please... I need you... (An unearthly roar from behind me)
What is that? (Slowly turns) a massive beast lunges and roars!

(Demi wakes up)

Hooded figure* My lord... You have fallen asleep...

Demi* Lich... Its you, what year is it?

Lich* it has been 137 years since the corruption of the Sepulcher and the destruction of life in Styx...

(Demi stares blankly into the distance)

Demi* How did things end up like this? 

Lich* You ask me that question every time you wake up my lord... It is Destiny that brought it upon us.

(Demi stands up from his throne and yells)

Demi* Destiny!? You call this Destiny!? Look around lich! There is nothing but death!

Lich* and there will be more deaths If you do not fulfill your destiny... The sepulcher will not stop his massacre until he has been defeated. And prophecy foretold that the day of reckoning for the throne of the dead shall arrive... There will be sides, and there will be more deaths.

(Lich Sighs while looking out the castle window)

Lich* My lord... The sepulcher will find a way to get off of this planet, and once he does. He will spread more corruption throughout the universe.

(Demi walked towards the window where the Lich is)

Demi* why did you stay? I'm not the undead king. What made you and the others stay?

Lich* We believed that You will be the one to make a difference in the world we live in now... It has been millions of years since my death... And nothing compares to the way you rule. And my lord... We will stay and fight for you until our true death.

Demi* Thank you...

(The creaking large door bursts open and with it comes a creature with 6 arms holding a scythe)

Demented creature* My lord the time has come for you to lead your forces to battle against the sepulcher.

Demi* what forces Reaper, Everyone left and joined the Sepulcher remember?

Reaper* That is not entirely true... My gargoyles and your Royalguards are still here... Even the Dracolish remained.

Demi* what would you have me do, I'm powerless right now ever since the Sepulcher took all my powers.

Reaper* there are 4 neutral undead who ascended since the destruction of Styx.

Demi* I remember those 4 I just hope they remember me. Lich arrange for a transport. We will be going to the Crypt of heaven.

Lich* at once my lord!

(Demi walks towards the door passing the Reaper)

Reaper* will you persuade them to join you my lord?

Demi* No... I will kill them and take their powers. Let's start with Vraak first. I'm pretty sure "The Death knight" is always expecting visitors.

Reaper* I will join you then.

Demi* No need, Lich will accompany me. I need you to find Benelan and Grashek however. The Location of those two are beyond the travels of bone arch(undead horses)

Reaper* And what would you have me do to them my lord?

Demi* I need you to inform them that Death is coming...

(Reaper laughs)

Demi* Go now! The Sepulcher is gathering immense power. And no longer will I sit idle in my throne. Lich inform the Guards that I will be leaving. I cannot have them running rampart in the fields looking for me.

Lich* thy will be done. If nothing more let us depart. 

(Demi walks out the door and rushes to the outer wall)

Lich* How much time do we have before the moon of Hador sets? 

Reaper* it happens in 9 Days... Or 3 Styxian days.

Lich* then we must hurry... Lord Demi has no more time left...

(Reaper nods and spurted out massive bone wings and flew out the window)

(Lich talking to himself while walking out to the outer wall) 

Lich* Elena... I hope you are watching, Demi needs you more than ever. Don't worry... I will tell him soon. He's just not ready yet to know about the Resurrection of the soul... He might use it wrongfully and end up dooming himself. Forgive me for this. 

(Demi is riding the bone arch while the Lich floats nearby)

(Huge wrecked buildings tower across the land)

Demi* remember the time when there were people here?

(Lich takes his time to observe the surroundings)

Lich* Yes my lord... It feels as though it was just recently.

(Demi smiles lightly and Lich saw it despite the hood Demi is wearing)

Demi* things sure did end up for the worse huh.

Lich* it is only happening until the the rightful leader of the undead is chosen... Life will return here I believe.

(The wind howls)

Demi* I hope you are right...

Lich* My lord do you remember how you killed the Sepulcher the first time?

Demi* I used The sword of mourning to kill him. But my body absorbed the Sepulcher instead.

Lich* Siegfried kept the Sepulcher distracted before you were able to land the killing blow. We will need another distraction for this fight. 

Demi* what do you have in mind?

(Lich chuckles)

Lich* In a fight my lord anything can happen... And it's usually the unpredictable one that wins.

Demi* You mean you will interfere with our prophetic fight?

Lich* Given the chance I will.

Demi* won't that change the prophecy?

(Lich chuckling)

Lich* We are evil beings my Lord... We do not follow rules in fights.

Demi* (laughing) yes I remember (laughing)

(The bone arch stops and growls into an empty cave near the buildings)

Demi* is this it?

(Lich's red eyes glows while staring into the dark)

Lich* The cave of valor... Vraak is inside.
Are you ready to face him my lord?

(Demi gives a huge sigh)

Demi* I'm not ready... But I have to be.

(Demi gets off the bone arch and slowly walks towards the cave)

(A massive growl can be heard from the inside of the cave)

Demi* Lich are you sure this is the one? I sense Vraak inside... I can't be mistaken.

(Demi materializes a crystal scythe out of thin air)

Demi* let us go in and confront this nightmare.

(As Demi and Lich walks into the cave, Lich gets stopped from the outside by a mysterious force)

Demi* Come inside.

Lich* My Lord it seems that destiny intended that you are the only one to confront Vraak. I can go no further... I will wait for you here.

Demi* Very well... I will see you soon.

Meanwhile... The reaper.

(Reaper drops on top of a destroyed tower)

(He spots a yellow skeleton filled with light and divine energy)

Reaper* Benelan... It has been awhile.

Benelan* why have you come here?

Reaper* Lord Demi will come for you soon...

Benelan* so he intends to fulfill his end of the prophecy... Its about damn time he stood up and did something.

Benelan* what will he do?

Reaper* he will come and kill you Benelan and take your powers to use against The Sepulcher.

Benelan* HA! Good... Very good... We will see if he really is the true successor to the throne. Prophecy or not.

Reaper* I must find Grashek... The moon of Hador will soon set... We only have 2 days left. 

Benelan* You will find him in the Malum Dunes... As where his kind lived before the Corruption.

Reaper* (Laughs) see you in the after life... 

(Reaper spurted wings and flew away headed to the Malum dunes)

(At the Cave of valor)

Demi* Its sure is dark here... I can't see very well.

(Demi sees a light at the end of the cave. He then stumbles into an empty throne room with armor sitting in the throne)

Demi* Well wasn't that easy... Vraak is dead, probably killed by that monster I heard growling...

Beastly voice* NO! 

(Demi was baffled and started checking where the voice came from)

Demi* Who said that? Show yourself.

(From the roof going down a massive half centipede half human creature descended)

Demi* what the!? 

(The monster crawled swiftly across the room into the throne)

Grotesque monster* (Laughing) Do you not fear me? Mmmm... I smell your fear... And it is delicious!

Demi* Who are you!? And what have you done to Vraak?

Grotesque creature* (Laughing) You are pretty slow aren't you... Dont you see? I am Vraak!

(Demi was shocked by what he heard)

Demi* What!? How that can't be. You have ascended. Why do you appear as such a creature?

Vraak* Yes I have ascended... And I have ascended again... Never before have I felt this much power.  

(Vraak takes the helmet, Armor, sword and shield from the throne and wore them)

Vraak* I am Vraak the Death knight... And I am hungry! 

(Vraak charges at Demi with blinding speed)

(Demi was quick on his feet and was able to evade Vraak, And Demi used the crystal scythe to latch on to Vraaks Back)

Vraak* Get off me halfling! You dare touch me with your filthy hands!

Demi* Vraak its me Demi don't you remember?

(Vraak shaking off Demi from his back)

Vraak* Ahh the Sepulcher wanna be. How can I not forget? You have come to die.

(Vraak thrashes on Demi while still on His back, Vraak swung his sword and shield at Demi causing Demi to fall)

Demi* Argh! Dammit! 

(Demi falls off and rolls to his side, Vraak laughing maniacally charges at Demi)

Vraak* (Laughing) Dinner is served!!!

(As Demi Braced himself to clash with Vraak, Demi's Scythe shattered and the fragments impaled Vraak)

Demi* What the!?

Vraak* ARGH!! What is this!? 

(The Shards of the crystal scythe is wriggling inside of Vraak)

(An eerie voice suddenly spoke)

Eerie voice* Demi... Have you already forgotten my existence?

(Vraak wracked in pain started thrashing the room)

Demi* Who are you? 

Eerie voice* Don't you remember? I'm you...

Demi* What are you talking about? 

Demi* Who are you!? Answer me!

Eerie voice* (chuckling) You really have forgotten haven't you... Well then let me show you.

Eerie voice* Look at Vraak for a moment.

(Demi stares at vraak while his teeth were clenched expecting something would happen)

(A ghost figure wearing a black hooded cloak and wielding a bleeding scythe appears and rips Vraak to pieces)

(Vraak roaring in pain before the malevolent being killed him)

Eerie Ghost* Now do you remember?

Demi* Who are you? Why do you keep asking me if I remember you?

Eerie ghost* What a shame... But time will remind you of me... (Laughing)

(The ghost vanished into thin air dropping the crystal scythe)

Demi* ...

Eerie voice* I would search the Corpse If I were you... I will be keep a close eye on you so entertain me... (Laughing maniacally)

(Demi walks over to the crystal scythe and picks it up, wondering to himself who he has just met claiming Demi knows him)

(Demi searched Vraaks corpse and saw a red gemstone inside his body where his heart is supposed to be)

Demi* This is the "Tear of blood" it grants the owner immense power and protects them from death... What an artifact. I wonder though why it didn't protect Vraak from death.

(Demi also took Vraaks armor, Helmet, Sword and shield as well)

Demi* Its time for me to go... Farewell Dead knight. (chuckling)

Chapter 2 The Malevolent Spirit

(As Demi walks out of the cave of valor he wonders to himself, who was that entity he saw? And why was it claiming that he KNOWS him.)

(The Lich patiently waiting outside)

Lich* Lord Demi... Your cloak is drenched in blood. Did you kill Vraak?

Demi* No I didn't... Someone else did.

Lich* who did the deed?

(Demi looks back at the cave of Valor entrance)

Demi* I don't know. But I didn't like him.

(Demi then describes to the Lich what he saw)

Lich* Vraak turned into a monster?

Lich* didn't he ascended? Why did he take such an atrocious visage?

Demi* Honestly he said he ascended twice... Can that be possible?

(The Lich was felt uneasy upon hearing what Demi said)

Demi* What's wrong Lich, Do you know something about this?

Lich* N-No... I'm just bewildered by what you told me just now...

Lich* Let us go my lord. We don't have much time left... The moon of Hador will set in 2 night from now. And the Sepulcher will reveal himself again... We must be ready.

(Demi raised an eye brow)

Demi* Clearly you know something... But I'm not in the mood to hear it. Let us Go... Our friend Bokar is waiting for us.

Lich* Bokar the Vampire? What would he possess that will make you strong my lord?

Demi* I don't remember... But Vraak had the "Tear of Blood" Then that means Bokar have something of equal value.

(Lich calling the Bone arch)

Demi* If I remember correctly... Bokar lives in the Temple of sanguine?

Lich* Yes my lord... And it will take 1 day of travel... I fear we will not have enough time to gather your strength before the fight with the Sepulcher.

Demi* Its alright... I can manage.

(Demi gets on the bone arch and travels east)

(As the Lich and Demi rode they encountered an unlikely group)

Demi* !?

Lich* People?

Demi* How?! Weren't they killed by the Sepulcher?

(Lich observed keenly from afar)

Lich* they look Like a group of humans and Wardens.

(Demi with a joyful spirit rushes to meet with the roaming group)

(The roaming group spotted Demi and Lich galloping towards them)

Human 1* !? The undead!

Human 2* Oh no we must warn the others. The dead have found them.

Warden 1* Enough chatter I will hold them off so that you may be able to warn the others of their presence.

(Human 1&2 flees the area)

(Demi gets stopped by the Winged person clad in silver armor)

Warden* You will go no further foul abomination!

(The Lich chuckled in amusement)

Lich* You would stop us?

Demi* I did not know your kind is still existing in this place.

(Warden draws his sword and aims it at Demi)

Demi* Lich... Follow those two humans... And don't be seen.

Lich* With Pleasure (Laughing)

(The Lich then vanishes in the blink of an eye)

(And the warden yells as he charged at Demi)

Warden* Raaaaaagh!!! You will die vile creature!

(The Wardens sword pierced Demi in the heart and it caused the bone arch to flinch)

(Demi then gets off the Bone arch and slowly walks towards the warden, impaling himself more but getting closer)

Demi* You smell of life.

Warden* And you reek of putrid stench, Undead.

(Demi then grabbed the wardens neck and slowly lifted him up into the air with one hand)

Demi* You talk loudly for a dead man...

Warden* unhand me foul creature. We will never be defeated by you. 

(Demi breaks the neck of the Warden)

Demi* I never liked your kind anyway... Bunch of highborn punks.

(Demi then got on the Bone arch and ordered it to follow the trail the Lich made)

Demi* Follow the umbral path. We need to know where the humans went.

(The Bone arch neighing in agreement gallops like a machinegun firing)

Meanwhile at the location of the Lich...

(Lich spotted the humans entering a fort hidden in the wrecked buildings)

Lich* So this is where they hide... These Rats won't see it coming.

(Demi arrives at the location of the Lich)

Lich* My lord we have found the living settlement.

(Buildings and doors can be heard creaking in the distant)

Demi* Lich this detour costs us valuable time... Let us end this ahead of schedule.

Lich* Very well.

(Demi and Lich slowly reaches the fort where the humans are)

Demi* I smell something...

(Demi looks around)

Lich* what is it My lord?

Demi* Something hot... And melting.

(A large creaking metallic sound can be heard screeching)

A woman's voice* That is the smell of a Plasma cannon charging up and aimed at you.

(Demi and the Lich looked up)

(Demi and the Lich saw a group of people gathered up at the peak of the fort. And with them a massive Plasma cannon that is ready to fire)

Woman* Fire!!!

(Plasma cannon whirring and expels a massive bolt of energy hitting Demi and disintegrating his clothes revealing his body and face)

(The Lich Moved away from the blast while Demi took it full force)

(Clearly the "Tear of blood" protected Demi from harm)

(The woman was shocked by what she saw)

Woman* Demi!? Is that you!?

(The Lich points toward the woman)

Lich* You are the princess of Valmat, Capital of the Undines. 

Woman* Let them In!

(People murmuring in disagreement)

Woman* things are different now. But Demi saved us before.

(People rebelling)

Angry crowd* He is an undead! And a vile killer. It was his fault these things are happening!

(The Woman became furious)

Woman* Your lives are fleeting humans. Ours don't, we still remembered the Deeds The Sepulcher did. And it is enough for us to cease hostilities against him. OPEN THE GATES!

(The Warden soldiers opened the gates and to let Demi in)

(People were throwing garbage at Demi)

Demi* Who are you?

Woman* Don't you remember who I am?

Woman* I am the princess Of the Undines Allaya. And Sepulcher we remember you.

(Demi is suddenly engulfed in darkness clothing him once again)

Demi* I don't Remember you however.

(Time suddenly stops)

Demi* what?

Eerie voice* Demi... Demi... 
You are straying from the path of Truth... Perhaps this will make you turn around.

(The same ghostly figure came out and started slashing the frozen timeless bodies of the people)

Demi* Stop! Do not kill them!! 

Eerie Ghost* You needed power... I am merely offering it.

Demi* Lich!?

(The Lich is frozen in time)

Demi* What is going on!?

Eerie Ghost*... Demi... Soon you will remember. (Ghost vanishes)

(Then time was restored and every living being in that fortress spurted out blood from their necks)

(Lich was surprised)

Lich* what happened!?

Demi* it happened again... The being that saves me from Vraak. It appeared and kill them all...

Demi* He froze time on them.

Lich* my lord we have not even moved an inch.

Lich* my lord are you alright?

(Suddenly Demi's tune changed)

Demi* Why yes I am alright Lich... I have never felt so alive... (Chuckles)

(The Long night has arrived)

Lich* My lord I cannot help but worry to what I have just witnessed awhile ago.

(Demi stopped the Bone arch to compose himself)

Demi* whatever that being is... It is beyond me.

Demi* I feel as though it is forcing me to go in a certain direction.

Lich* What do you mean?

Demi* He told me I was walking away from the truth when I saw those people. And that he had to show me around.

(Lich stares into the night sky)

Demi* What are you thinking?

Lich* I cannot see the moon of Hador and the moon of Gram. Odd...

Demi* it is then the perfect time to pay a visit to Bokar... If I recall perfectly he doesn't like the light.

Lich* The Temple of sanguine is ahead now... It is near the Gurkhan land.

(Demi takes a deep breath)

Demi* Ahh yes... Could it be Lich, that some of the Ghurkas may still be alive?

(Lich quietly observers the area)

Lich* I feel something or someone is watching us...

(Demi looks around boringly)

Demi* I don't see any.

Lich* Must be my imagination...

Demi* Now as I was saying... Do you think there are still some Gurkha left in this land?

Lich* Possibly... We have seen a Warden, and to think the floating continent was destroyed by the World Dragon when The Sepulcher parted souls with you and took over the Warden capital.

(As Demi and Lich travel towards the temple of sanguine they felt a quake)

Demi* Well if you put it that way we might st-!!!

(The earth rumbled for a while then stopped)

Lich* An earthquake?

Demi* That was no earthquake... There is a Deathworm nearby.

(The earth rumbled again this time a stronger quake)

Lich* This is good for us. Deathworms are loyal to you, we might be able to use this one to travel and to scout the area for us.

Demi* I just hope you're right. 

(Demi got off of the Bone arch and called upon the worm)

Demi* Deathworm Come and serve your master!

(The earth opened up beneath Demi and caused him to fall inside)

Lich* Lord Demi! 

(As Demi falls into Darkness so did his consciousness)

Woman's voice* Demi... Wake up...

Demi* Elena? Where are you Elena? I'm here!

Elena* Demi you have to wake up... You can't sleep... He will find you if- its too late now... I'm sorry...

(A massive roar can be heard and it shook the earth beneath Demi's feet)

Demi* This is just a dream... Elena is long dead. And this is not really happening.

Demi* Elena where are you? At least let me see you even in my dreams. Don't be unfair!

(Growling behind Demi)

Massive Beast* You are too loud Demi...

(Demi was frozen in fear when he felt the monster behind him)

Massive Beast* Do you remember me? (Chuckles) because I certainly remember you...

Massive Beast* Come now Demi... Speak to me, I know you are dying to talk.

(Demi's senses are slowly returning and he slightly turns around to see a familiar creature)

Demi* Gasps* You!? You're dead! I killed you during the war.

Massive Beast* Oh but I'm very much alive Demi... But soon you won't.

(The beast lunges and takes a bite at Demi)

Massive Creature* Mmmm.... That was delicious.

(As the massive monster devours Demi a familiar voice can be heard talking in the shadows)

Eerie male voice 1* What are you eating Vulgan?

(Vulgan did not respond as he kept chewing)

Eerie female voice 1* Vulgan is eating Demi...

Eerie male voice 2* VULGAN! RELEASE DEMI NOW!

(Vulgan stops chewing and growls angrily)

Vulgan* I have not eaten in a century... Not just a century but a Styxian century!

Eerie female voice 1* If you eat Demi now he won't wake up... And you won't be able to eat ever again.

(Vulgan stomps the ground with his massive arms)

Vulgan* Why should I listen to you Mavelle?

(A beautiful female humanoid with clothing that barely hides her body appears)

Mavelle* if Demi does not wake up we will be stuck here for eternity... I cannot stand another year seeing Him chase a dead woman in his dreams.

Mavelle* Don't you agree Balrog?

(A horned humanoid monster materializes from the dark and takes a deep breath)

Balrog* Ahhhh....The sweet smell of darkness...Vulgan, Release Demi, or this will be your last meal.

(A cloaked Person wielding a bleeding scythe materializes from the dark)

Eerie ghost* Enough... Vulgan, Release Demi. Or there will be nothing for you to eat.

(Vulgans Eyes grow yellow and shines in the dark)

Vulgan* How about I devour you Barakal?

(Barakal swings his Scythe and the blood gets to Vulgan and  burns him)

(Vulgan shrieking in pain ran away)

Barakal* Wake him up... Time is almost out for Demi.

(Balrog emitted a  blinding light that was so bright it would blind those that kept their eyes open)

Mavelle* See you again Demi <3

Balrog* soon...

(The Lich and Deathworm desperately wakes up Demi)

Lich* My lord! Wake up!

(Demi slowly opens his eyes)

Lich* my lord I was worried when you fell... It took me awhile to find you with all this dirt...

(Demi stood up and slowly lowers his head in anger)

Demi* I had a weird dream... And I think I know who the killer is now... 

(The Lich was surprised)

Lich* Who was it My lord?

Demi* Barakal... (Demi's Eyes turned red as he spoke of his name)

(The wind blew down the hole the deathworm created)

Lich* That can't be...

Demi* it can and it just did... Save the talk I don't have much time, Deathworm. Bring us to the Temple of Sanguine.

(The Deathworm growled in agreement and ate Demi and Lich)

Chapter 3 The Temple of Sanguine

(Demi And Lich is inside the Deathworm and is traveling towards the Temple of Sanguine to meet with Bokar)

(Demi feels uncomfortable while they travel)

Lich* Are you alright my lord?

Demi* I'm claustrophobic.

Lich* (laughing) We will soon be there with a ride like this.

(The Deathworm resurfaces and regurgitates Demi and Lich)

Demi* What happened to Bone Arch?

(The Deathworm then spat out Bone Arch's skull)

Lich* Deathworm Acid... Eats through anything.

(The wind howls loudly)

Demi* The Temple of Sanguine... My It looks nice. Even better than what it looks before the corruption.

(After the corruption the land lost life, and every living being started to die. Plants, Trees, and even the people. Leaving only a brown soil and a gray sky)

Lich* The Temple of Sanguine... Beware my lord... Bokar isn't friendly.

(There is a gong near the temple gates)

(Demi strikes the gong with the sword of Vraak)

(The gong emitted a loud clanging sound which vibrated throughout the temple)

(When the sound ceased the temple gates slowly opened)

(When the gate opened there is a fine man standing at the top of the stairs)

Demi* its Bokar.

Bokar* (murmuring) I've been expecting you.

Demi* what did he say?

Lich* I don't know... It's too soft.

Demi* what did you say? I couldn't hear you talk.

Bokar* (a little bit louder) I said I've been expecting you.

(Demi and Lich still couldn't hear what Bokar said)

Demi* What? What are you saying I can't hear you!

Lich* Bokar we cannot understand you

(Bokar about to throw a fit)

Bokar* (Yells) I SAID I'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU! NOW GET UP HERE!

Demi* Oh.. My bad.

Lich* be on your guard my lord...

(Demi And Lich walks up the stairs and meets Bokar)

(Demi then drew Vraaks sword and impaled Bokar in the heart)

Bokar* What!?

(Demi with a smile on his face)

Demi* I've come to kill you and take your powers.

Bokar* Ahh yes of course the prophecy... But I'm disappointed to tell you that killing me won't grant you my powers.

Demi* Now why is that hmm? This is a trick isn't it?

Bokar* (Laughs) no... Let me show you why.

(Bokar then walks backwards removing the sword from his heart)

Bokar* Come with me.

(As Demi and Lich enters the temple of sanguine they can hear dark chantings)

Demi* these are the Gurkha's... They're alive!?

Lich* Look my lord they're vampires as well...

Bokar* ahh yes.. These are the few Gurkha's who aligned themselves with me. The rest I don't know where they went. With their Godly strength enhanced by my Vampiric powers... They are virtually unstoppable.

Demi* But that made them vulnerable to silver?

Bokar* That's the thing... Their blood is silver based. Humans are iron based, The Wardens are Copper based and the Undines are also silver based blood. The Morphers vanished way before I could study them.

Demi* And the Styx?

Bokar* I don't know... You're the only Styxian left I know. But alas, your planet your rules I supposed.

Bokar* Now where were we... Ahh yes here let me show you.

(Bokar opens a massive door inside the Temple and in the center there is a giant mirror with a living frame)

Bokar* Remember when I mentioned you won't be taking my powers when you killed me?

Demi* Yes?

Bokar* Because this is what I posses...
The Mirror of Hades.

Bokar* I know its a Human legend, but this one works... It can show you what you want to see.

(The vampires in the room suddenly stopped chanting, stood up and left)

Bokar* Now that's better...

Lich* Where are they going?

Bokar* They will guard the Temple. Because every time I use the Mirror of Hades it attracts the undead and more importantly the Sepulcher.

Demi* Then we won't have much time is that it?

Bokar* Yes

Bokar* Lich old friend guard the door please.

Lich* Something tells me this is indeed serious.

Bokar* Shit is about to go down.

(Lich then floats towards the door and materializes his Bone Rod)

Lich* I'm ready.

Bokar* Demi look here in the Mirror.

(The dragon frame of the mirror started roaring)

(The mirror distorted itself and showed Demi His reflection with a shadow looming above him)

Demi* (looks behind quickly) Nothing... 

Bokar* Don't waste time look into the mirror.

(A loud crash can be heard from the outside)

Bokar* It has begun.

(Slashing and liquid flowing sounds can be heard on the other side of the door)

Demi* Show me what is happening.

(The mirror showed demi images of his castle and his Guards defending it from a massive horde of undeads)

(The mirror then changed the image and showed Benelan preparing to leave the ruined tower)

(The mirror then showed the Reaper Fighting a monster in the desert)

(Then the mirror changed and showed The Sepulcher outside the big door staring back at Demi)

Bokar* Gasp* LICH STAY AWAY FROM THE DOOR!

(The massive door exploded violently sending the Lich flying towards them)

(The Sepulcher slowly walks in as the room gets enveloped by darkness)

Sepulcher* Demi... It is nice to see you again (chuckling)

Bokar* It is not yet time... Demi, Lich, you must escape.

Demi* How!?

Lich* We will hold him off my lord, while you find a way to escape.

Sepulcher* (Laughing) there will be no escape...

Bokar* Mirror of hades grant passage to thy spirit! 

(The Mirror of hades started to suck everything nearby inside)

Bokar* The moon of Hador sets tonight.
You must be ready Demi.

(The Sepulcher with an angry expression hidden under the black cloak of death)

Sepulcher* No one leaves!

(The Sepulcher lunges with a violent gush of shadow)

Bokar* Denizens of the abyss I summon you! 

(2 Umbral demons appeared and held off the Sepulcher)

Bokar* Demi take the Lich and go now!

(Demi dragging the Lich into the portal)

Demi* What about you!?

Bokar* You are wasting time, do not worry about me. NOW GO!!!

Demi* Thank you Bokar.

(Demi and Lich vanished into the portal)

Bokar* Thank me when you've killed the Sepulcher, Farewell.

Bokar* I am Bokar the Dreadlord... And I will not let you have Demi. Banish with the light!

(Bokar then shattered the Mirror and caused a massive explosion of holy energy)

(The Bright light engulfed Bokar and the entire temple disintegrating every living being inside)

(As the bright light fades only the Sepulcher remains)

Sepulcher* (Stares out the window)
Ahhh... The Moon of Hador. (Laughing) soon you will cover the Moon of Gram... And this world will be mine.

Chapter 4 The Malum Dunes

(A massive explosion sends Demi and Lich into a desert)

Demi* Lich are you alright?

(Lich is unconscious)

Demi* What was that explosion? And where are we?

(The sands shifts as the wind howls)

(The area is dark because of the Lunar eclipse, The red moon of Hador has covered The white moon of Gram)

Demi* The moon of Hador finally sets... And I still can't face the Sepulcher.

(Demi walks towards the Lich and picks Him up)

Demi* Come Lich let us keep going... The explosion awhile ago, that was from Bokar wasn't it?

(Still no answer from the Lich)

(The Lich is carried by Demi on the shoulders)

(Demi thought to himself the current situation they were in)

Demi* Damn... How bad can this get? The Moon of Hador is up and it won't go away anytime soon until one of us dies...

(Demi is frustrated)

Demi* Dammit... Whoever invented this prophecy is a total douche.

Demi* I best look for reaper here. I saw him in the Mirror fighting a monster. There is only one desert in Styx and its the Malum Dunes.

(Demi trudges with Lich into the ever shifting desert)

(Demi stumbled upon an empty village as he kept going)

(Demi hid in one of the houses)

Demi* (Places Lich at a corner) Its cold... And the shifting sands are of no help.

Demi* I must find a way to get to Reaper. 

(Demi then decides to leave the house to look for Reaper, then the Lich woke up)

Lich* My lord... You did not leave me when I was crippled?

Demi* How can I save this world if I cannot save you.

Lich* coughing* Thank you my lord...

Demi* I'm leaving to find Reaper. He must be nearby. I need you to stay here and rest Lich. 

(Lich nods in appreciation)

(As Demi left in search of the Reaper, He felt as though he is being watched)

Demi* I don't like this... I've been in this situation before.

(A sandstorm suddenly brewed)

Demi* Good... A sandstorm, this will hide me from view.

(In the distance, beneath the Moon of Hador a red beam can be seen descending into the ground, a huge quake can be felt throughout the planet's surface)

Demi* This is...

(A massive tower suddenly rose from the base of the Moon beam, Towering above the land it is as though the tower is holding the red moon of Hador upon seeing it from the land)

Demi* The tower of Judgement... The Sepulcher is waiting for me. Let him wait, this Moon won't go anywhere anyway.

(At the peak of the Tower of Judgement)

Sepulcher* Ahh... judgement shall soon grant me infinite power... All I have to do now is wait for Demi. I have gathered power for 137 years and counting... I will not fall.

(An acolyte approaches the Sepulcher)

Acolyte* Master... We are having difficulties sieging castle Schrade, Demi's Royalguards are defending it.

Sepulcher* Have you tried using the Goliaths?

Acolyte* Yes master... Uhm... The Draconian twins obliterated them.

Sepulcher* How about the World enders?

Acolyte* Uhm... The Dracolish and Viper stopped them.

Sepulcher* The thunder giants?

Acolyte* The Dark night held of the advance.

(Sepulcher feeling uneasy and impatient)

Sepulcher* Are you serious, You cannot take a castle with a few people and a dead dragon defending it!? 

(The Acolyte trembling in fear)

Acolyte* Muttering* B-but master t-the dead still f-fear Demi's Royalguards... They were originally serving them.

Sepulcher* You disappoint me.

(The Acolyte is on his knees begging for forgiveness)

Acolyte* Muttering* P-please Master g-give me a-another chance please.

Sepulcher* chuckling* I forgive you.

(Sepulcher then orders his flying beasts to take the Acolyte away)

Sepulcher* Take him away I do not want any defective beings in my army.

Acolyte* Please master no! 

(Flying monsters took the Acolyte and dropped him off the tower)

(The Sepulcher walks in the center of the towers peak, and ordered his flying monsters to gather)

Sepulcher* Demi did not show his face. (Laughing) and waiting here has made me hungry. Are you hungry my pets?

(The flying monsters roars in lust for blood)

Sepulcher* Let us go and pay Demi a visit in his lovely little castle. (Face covered in shadow revealed two yellow glowing serpentine eyes)

At Malum dunes...

Demi* The sandstorm did me favors... But Now I can't find my way... The sands are shifting and I cannot see clearly.

(As Demi wanders hopelessly he stumbles a graveyard in the desert)

Demi* These skeletons piled up in the sand are mixed... Human, Undine, Gurkha and Warden. Was there a fight here a long time ago?

(Demi scavenges from masses of bones in the field)

Demi* A human weapon... I remember this one its a "phase gun" A hundred years ago, I remember getting shot from one of these things... It melted my insides. I think I'll keep this one.

(Demi then marches onward and finds another ruined city)

Demi* This is the capital of the Morphers... I heard they just vanished. I don't even remember why we let those leaches live in this planet.

(As Demi continued walking through the abandoned buildings something snatched him from behind into a dark house)

Demi* What the hell!?

Unknown being* Shh Shh he might here you.

Demi* who? Reaper?

Reaper* My lord stay quietly... Grashek is outside. 

Demi* What's wrong? What happened to your arms?

(Reaper observing the surroundings through a tiny hole in the building wall)

Reaper* Grashek viciously attacked me when I was looking for him. He seemed totally like a different person,  massive horns protruding from his head, torso of the undead and the lower body of a giant scorpion.

Demi* Gasps* That's how Vraak looked when we met. But with a centipedes body.

Reaper* But what about you my Lord? What are you doing here? 

Demi* Bokar sent us here when the Sepulcher attacked the temple of Sanguine.

Reaper* Where is the Lich?

Demi* When the Sepulcher made his attack on the temple. The Lich was injured, so I hid him in the empty village I came upon before this place.

(A gush of sand can be heard outside)

Reaper* That's Grashek... He's still looking for me.

Grashek* (Laughing Maniacally) Reaper come out and play.

(Grashek smashed a house nearby)

Grashek* You cannot hide from me... I smell you...

Reaper* We must find a way to kill him. The Moon of Hador has set, The Sepulcher is probably on the move as well.

Demi* Yes I have a phase gun here. Maybe it will work. Let's try it.

(Demi bursts open the door and aimed the phase gun at Grashek)

Grashek* Ahh Demi long time no see... What made you visit the desert? Is it for the view? (Chuckling)

(The Reaper floats out the open door)

Demi* Grashek why are you like that? An abomination.

Grashek* Abomination? No no no... This is the Ritual of soul resurrection.

Demi* Soul resurrection?

Grashek* Wait, so you seriously don't know about it? It is when the departed souls of the dead are resurrected into new bodies identical to the last one they had. Meaning you can revive your precious Elena.

Demi* What!? How come I didn't know about this?

Grashek* How about asking your friend there?

Demi* Reaper? Did you know about this?

Reaper* Yes my lord.

Demi* Why didn't you tell me?

(Grashek about to take a step closer)

Demi* Don't move! (Aiming the phase gun at Grasheks head)

Reaper* We swore an oath to Lady Elena that we would tell you in the right time.

Grashek* (laughing) See... Who can you trust hmm Demi?

Demi* Reaper tell me why Grashek Looks like that.

Reaper* When our victims die they turn into the undead. Their souls remain in their decaying bodies. Meaning the soul still has a host. The ritual will merely give the soul a new body. However if you already have a body and still do the ritual You turn into one of these.

Reaper* That is why Lady Elena didn't want you to know yet. It was Lich who was instructed to tell you about the Ritual. Seeing he is unable to, it falls to me.

(Demi in a bit of shock)

Demi* I see, so that's how it is. Reaper after this I need you to teach me the ritual.

Reaper* My lord there are requirements for the ritual and if you were to fail, the one you are resurrecting might turn into a monster.

Demi* I don't care.

Grashek* And to think Demi, your subordinates are your loyal followers (laughing)

Demi* Shut up and die!

(Demi fires the phase gun at Grashek hitting his chest)

Grashek* Aaaaaaaaargg!!! You mongrel how dare you harm my body!

(Grashek dives into the sand)

Demi* Where is he at?

Reaper* Be careful my lord.

(Grashek bursts from the sand at the right side of Demi wielding Swords while his poisonous tail lashes)

Grashek* DIE!!!!

(Reaper pushes Demi and Locks Grasheks blades with his Scythe)

(Demi falls down and drops the phase gun, the sandstorms then buries the phase gun in sand)

Demi* Huh!? Oh no the phase gun!

Reaper* My lord kill him now while he is occupied.

Grashek* I don't think so.

(Grashek then swings his tail at Demi slicing Vraaks armor in his chest)

Demi* That was close... A little more I would have ended up a barbecue.

Reaper* Try and slice his tail off.

Grashek* You really think you can defeat me!?

Grashek* I am Grashek the shredder! And I will not fall easily!

(Lighting suddenly Strike Grasheks exposed chest)

Grashek* Aaaaaagghhhh!!! 

(The lighting bolt was so high in power it fried Grashek)

(After the lightning has stricken, Grashek exploded into pieces)

(Sending the reaper flying into one of the empty houses and causing the ruined house to fall)

(The sandstorm faded as a robed skeleton with a black halo on its head, Holding a gleaming bow can be seen standing tall at the dunes)

Benelan* I am Benelan the Fury and my aim is true!

(Demi was surprised)

Demi* Benelan!? 

Benelan* It has been awhile Lord Demi.

(The reaper comes out of the pile of rubble in the floor)

Reaper* Benelan you have come.

Benelan* Demi is taking his time coming to me. So I might as well be the one to meet him.

Demi* Boy am I glad to see you... Now give me your powers.

Benelan* (Chuckling) So impatient... Here take this.

(Benelan offers Demi his bow)

Demi* I'm already holding too much weapons for your bow.

Benelan* Then in that case receive my blessings instead.

(Benelan touched Demi and a surge of electrical energy flowed throughout him)

Demi* What did you give me?

Benelan* That is the essence of energy. With it you will be able to use some of your powers again.

Demi* But the Sepulcher took my powers.

Benelan* Didn't you know? Hmm... Maybe its best for you to hear this from someone else. She is Dying to meet you as well.

Demi* She?

(Benelan opens a portal)

Benelan* This leads to the very bottom of the crypt of heaven. In there you will find her.

Benelan* The Sepulcher is marching towards Castle Schrade in hopes of finding you there.

Reaper* Go my lord... We will take the Lich and defend the castle.

Demi* Very well... I want that castle still intact when I get back.

Reaper* I'll see to it my lord.

benelan* See you soon Demi.

(Demi enters the portal)

Chapter 5 The Sieging of Castle Schrade

Reaper* Benelan we must find the Lich and go back to the Castle.

Benelan* This is really happening isn't it?

Reaper* I am about to face my old master... I'm certainly not happy about this.

(Reaper spreads his bone wings... Only to find out half of the left wing has been sliced off...)

Reaper* I won't be able to fly... My wings are damaged.

Benelan* Will it recover? 

(Reaper tries to flap both his wings)

Reaper* Yes they will heal I just need time. 

(Benelan then opens a portal)

Benelan* We will be skipping the flying lessons.

Reaper* Wait, we have to find the Lich.

Benelan* Do you know where He is?

(Reaper rubs his boney chin as he thought of an answer)

Reaper* I remember. Lord Demi said he left him at an empty village before this place.

Benelan* I know the desert well. And I know that place. Let us go... Time is of the essence.

(Reaper and Benelan enters the portal and arrives outside the empty village and finds a robed figure knocking at one of the doors of the empty houses)

Benelan* Its the Lich, Hurry into the portal Lich we must hurry!

(The Lich turns around and faces them making creaking sounds as it floats towards them)

Reaper* Wait a minute... I remember Lord Demi telling me the Lich was crippled... How can he float now?

(The Lich? Creaks even louder)

Reaper* !? A Morpher!

Benelan* What!?

(The Morpher in disguise then bursts into pieces sending out slimes that crawls into the sand)

Reaper* This is Bad... These things gave us problems back in the day.

Reaper* They would disguise as people you would know, and devour the unsuspecting victim.

Benelan* in that case we should be alright. This one was creaking and making sounds the Lich wouldn't do right?

Reaper* This Morpher is still young for it to still fail a disguise... It has seen Lich but not internally.

Benelan* Is that good?

Reaper* No its bad. It means its parents must be nearby.

(The slime blobs then slowly form into Gurkha Soldiers)

Reaper* Brace yourself Benelan. The Morphers can use anything their victims can do.

Benelan* At least I know now. You wouldn't want one of those running around looking like me.

(The Morpher then shrieked and attacked. Sending all the Gurkhan soldiers against Reaper and Benelan)

(Reaper Chops of one of his arms with his Scythe and crushed it, then he threw the pieces up high)

Reaper* "The eternal dammed I call upon you!" 

(Skeleton warriors, Mages and assassins rose from each shard of his crushed arm, matching the numbers of the Morphen Gurkha soldiers)

Benelan* Now we can win this.

(Benelan drew his lightning bow cracking it as he drew further, He then fires at one of the Morphen Gurkha but the lightning bolt just passes through)

Benelan* What!? How? That's impossible!

Reaper* I called upon the Undead to buy us time and distract the Morpher.

(Reaper then orders the Undead warriors to attack the Morphen Gurkha soldiers)

Reaper* Quickly find the Lich while the Morpher is occupied.

(Benelan and Lich tore down door for door to find the Lich)

(The numbers of the Skeletal warriors are decreasing and more and more Morphers appear taking different shapes)

Reaper* Last house!

(Benelan then bursts through the door and finds the Lich leaning on the wall)

(Benelan then opens a portal leading to the outer gate of Castle Schrade)

Benelan* Quickly grab him and let's go.

(Reaper grabs Lich and rushed into the portal, Benelan followed and closed it afterwards)

(The trio arrived at the gates of Schrade only to find a large battle taking place)

Reaper* The Sepulchers Army... 

Benelan* This is not how I remembered Schrade.

Lich* Groaning* Ohh... Where are we?

Reaper* We are back at Schrade and it is under attack by the Sepulcher.

(Bolts of lightning, Fireballs, Tornados, and many other projectiles can be seen flying across the fields. Lighting up the dark sky)

(An imposing creature with black dragon wings on its back and horns protruding from both its eye sockets and a red eye occupying its mouth descends from the sky and and confronts them)

Imposing creature* Quickly get inside the castle!

(The huge castle gate opens slowly and from inside comes a creature with similar features as the other one)

Reaper* Rei, Rai. Take the Lich into the castle. Benelan and I will stay at the front.

Rei* Yes Rai can take the Lich. I'm staying we need all the help we Can get.

(Rai Grabs the Lich and scurries into the castle)

(From the distance in the masses of the enemy horde, The Sepulcher can be seen riding his slaves as a chariot into the battlefield) 

Benelan* The Sepulcher is here... Reaper, We must buy as much time for Demi. We need to delay the Sepulcher.

Reaper* indeed...

(Reaper let's out a commanding roar Alerting the Royalguards of Demi)

Reaper* WE NEED TO BUY LORD DEMI TIME AS MUCH AS IT TAKES! EVEN IF IT MEANS OUR DEATH!

(The Royalguards braced themselves for the encounter)

Dark Knight* They are sending us beings I have not seen before.

Viper* The same goes for me. These tentacle creatures just won't die!

(The Dracolish can be seen flying over the enemy troops, Razing the enemy with its blue flames)

Reaper* Saboteur you know what to do once the Sepulcher is within reach.

Saboteur* For Lord Demi. My life is a miniscule thing. 

(Flying creatures can be seen charging at them from the hordes location)

(The Massive Dracolish intercepted the flying fiends, but some still were able to pass)

(A massive bolt of lightning strikes the flying fiends disintegrating them)

Benelan* Not on my watch!

(A beautiful lady with an upper body of a Human and a lower body of a snake appears from the ground)

Snake lady* What can I do?

Dark Knight* The enemy war machines are advancing. Stop them Scylla!

Scylla* With pleasure. The ground is my land... The earth shall tremble.

(Scylla burrows into the ground and a quake erupts and devours the War machines)

(A small black dragon lands near the area guarded by Reaper)

Reaper* Rai find a way to stop the advance of the horde.

(The Dragon then transforms into the Creature with horns in the eye sockets and an eye on its mouth)

Rai* I have seen the hordes backbone... If we take it out we can end their advance.

Reaper* Do it!

Rai* I can't... I will be shot down even before I get to it.

Benelan* Let me handle it. Tell me what to aim at.

(Rai points at a towering mechanical soldier)

Rai* over there!

Benelan* its a human battle suit!

(Benelan aims at the towering Mech and releases a lightning bolt piercing the Mech and toppling it)

(The giant Mech falls over the undead masses)

Sepulcher* You are all useless, Let me handle this!

(The Sepulcher steps out of his chariot and walks towards the castle)

(The undead horde gives way as the king passes)

Sepulcher* Let me show you how its done.

(The Dark Knight confronts the Sepulcher with both his hands on his flaming sword)

Dark Knight* Sepulcher, your reign ends here!

Sepulcher* Don't make me laugh... What can you do?

(The Dark Knight stabs the ground beneath him, Causing the ground to ripple towards the Sepulcher)

(The Sepulcher walks toward into the rippling blast of rocks)

(The rocks would pass through the Sepulcher as if He was pure air)

Dark Knight* What... How?

Sepulcher* (Laughing) Is that all you have to show me?

(The Dark Knight then pointed his flaming blade into the sky and quickly calling a ball of fire to attack the Sepulcher)

(The fireball hits the Sepulcher, but the flames extinguish the moment they touch the Sepulchers robes)

Sepulcher* It would seem you are out of tricks, let me show you mine.

(The Sepulcher breathe a thick gray gas at the Dark Knight)

(The Dark Knight flinched and by the time the gas dissipates the Dark Knight has turned to stone)

(The Sepulcher laughs as he walks over and smashes the stone statue of the Dark Knight)

Sepulcher* I feel the tremors... 

(The Sepulcher then materializes a living Scythe with an eye and a mouth and plunges it into the ground)

(The Scythe uproots Scylla from the ground and dismembers her)

(Scylla let's out a loud scream before she was killed)

Reaper* This is Bad we are running out of troops and the Sepulcher bolsters the morale of the enemy.

(The Dracolish falls from the sky smashing the castle gates open)

Rei* THE ENEMY IS ADVANCING RETREAT TO THE CASTLE!

(The other Royalguards retreat to the castle yard entrance)

(Rai descends from the sky)

Rai* Why are we retreating brother?

Rei* The castle is a fortress we can use it to hold our ground.

Benelan* What is happening, Why are we retreating?

Rei* The Sepulcher joined the battle we can't hold the outer field.

Reaper* What can we do?

Rai* The castle has weapons we can use to hold the front that will definitely slow them down.

(Reaper looks around as the undead horde of the Sepulcher marches)

Reaper* Who else is alive inside the castle?

Rei*  Ava is still alive. And she can defend the castle from within. We can draw them into her deathtraps.

Reaper* That's the plan. Everybody retreat into the castle!

(The war horn inside Castle Schrade was blown in the tune of retreat)

(The Royalguards and some of the still remaining gargoyles in fields retreat to the castle)

(The Dracolish collected itself and roared before retreating)

At the army of Sepulcher...

Sepulcher* Look at them. They are retreating. Finish them all leave no survivors. Traitors shall be punished!

(The undead horde rallies in excitement for the taste of victory)

(The Sepulcher walks with joy as he leads the Undead horde into the castle)

(War machines fire massive balls of flame as they charge forward)

At Castle Schrade...

(A large fire ball hits and destroys the north tower)

Reaper* I Don't think the plan is working. The war machines are tearing this place down.

(The Large front door opens and the Lich appears from it)

Lich* We can still hold this ground...

Reaper* Lich get some more rest. We can handle this.

(The Lich began to float again and materialized his Bone staff)

Lich* We need troops to delay the Sepulcher more!

(The Lich pointed at the graveyard in Castle Schrade)

Reaper* The old Guards?

Lich* Yes we can use them to buy a little more time... I cannot resurrect them fully... So 2 mins would be enough for this battle.

Reaper* Provide cover for the Lich as he revives the dead! Rei, Rai its time.

(The Draconian brothers nod... As they fused together and formed a huge gray dragon with 2 heads)

(The damned dragon roars and terrifies the ghouls in the enemy army)

Damned dragon* This is all we can do now... The rest is up to you all.

Reaper* Thank you for your sacrifice it will not be in vain.

Damned dragon* Lord Demi will come. We will buy him as much time as possible.

(Benelan approaches the Reaper)

Benelan* They really believe in Demi don't they...

Reaper* We all here believe in Demi. And our Faith in him shall never waver.

(The Damned dragon flies into the massive horde and smashes the ground, sending thousands of the undead into an eternal hell)

(The Damned dragon unleashed silver flames and melted the remaining war machines)

Sepulcher* So this is the famed Damned dragon of Castle Schrade. Interesting... Call the Abyssal dragon.

(As the Damned dragon rampages it bought time for the Lich to summon at least 2 ancient guards from the graveyard)

Lich* This is all I can do... I am sorry.

Reaper* It will do. Thank you Lich.

Lich* Ancient Royalguards... It is time to once again serve the Lord of Castle Schrade.

(The two guards without expression trudged to the battlefield on the direction of the massive Damned dragon)

Lich* Let us hope they can do it...

(A roar can be heard from the direction of the undead horde, A large Black dragon flies towards the Damned dragon)

Damned dragon* Come closer so we can torch you vile beast!

(The abyssal dragon lands on the undead horde and faces the Damned dragon)

Abyssal dragon* so you are to be my opponent? There will be no challenge in killing you...

Damned dragon* We shall see...

(The two massive dragon clashed with one another breathing flames and lashing tails)

(The Abyssal dragon saw a weak spot of the Damned dragon, he then swiped his tail at the head of Rai cutting it off)

(The Damned dragon roars in pain and stumbles back as the tail swipe force was too much to bear)

(The Abyssal dragon then lunges at the dazed Damned dragon and tore it its other head off with his mouth)

(The Massive Damned dragon fell and caused a short quake)

Benelan* Our dragon has fallen... 

Reaper* Saboteur better hide your presence now... I fear soon they will come here.

Saboteur* Yes... I'm on it.
