Ice cold fire coursing thru soul
Forgetting the pain is the goal 
Numb feeling nothing but bliss 
This was what I experienced when I encountered hells sweet kiss
I felt like I had finally found the escape id been looking for
Soon I was craving more and more 
I couldn't feel my face
I drifted thru outer space
When my feet finally hit the ground 
 I stood up and looked around 
While my head was in the clouds
My world was Crashing Down 
 By then I was hooked
I was lost and it had me shook
I Dance with the Devil
Then he left me disheveled
I had no clue what to do and where to find what I left behind
So I ran back to that which broke me
Foolishly believing it that it would save me
And what do you know the devil played me
Embarrassed me in front of everything I loved
There was no way out until I looked above
Addiction is an affliction I wish on no one
Insidious and it's ways its control can happen to anyone
Lawyers doctors nurses mothers
It can happen to anyone if you choose to discover
If you follow the devil Into the Night
Be prepared to fight
Many never make it to see the Morning Light
How many never choose to change believing they have no problem or reason for acting strange
We can lie to anyone but we can't lie to ourselves
