One man walks into a bar, another follows, (You probably thought this was going to be a joke) the two men sit at the front of the bar. They both order the same drink. They don't know each other, the man wearing a black T-shirt takes his drink and chugs it down. The other drank his slowly, taking his time. The man in the black T-shirt looks up, "Who are you supposed to be?" He said quietly. "I am William, William Streether. And you must be Arthur." Will held out his hand for a hand shake. Arthur accepts William's offer and shakes his hand weekly. "Why are you fallowing me?" Arthur asks. William chuckles at the question as if it was a joke. Arthur looks away from the man for a minute confused, he then turns to speak again but realizes that William was gone. He stood up and scanned over the bar. He could not see where the man has gone. After about 15 minutes sitting in the bar he pays for his drinks then leaves a tip. The little bell rang as he left the bar into the parking lot. The car was gone. Arthur started cursing loudly. He reached into his pocket, the key was gone. "That little ****!* Arthur punched the sign post. He grunts as his nuckle cracks open. Arthur pulls his arm close to himself, with his left hand he searched for his phone which was also gone. Some lady from inside the bar saw the commotion happening out side. She runs out, "Umm sir? Are you ok?" She says softly. "Can I use your phone?" Arthur asks. The lady held up her phone to his hand. Arthur takes the phone then calls the police. Five minutes later police arrived at the bar. Arthur explains what has happened, the man he met and his car. -----------*---------- One week later. Arthur gets off the public bus to, the closest stop is about three miles from where he lives. He does not have a family to go home to. Well it's not really a home, it is more of a home on wheels but with no wheels. His wheels were stolen when he was at work about 2 years ago. At the stop he saw a familiar looking man but he was to short to be the man from the bar. The little man saw Arthur eyeing him, the little man face lit up. "Hey, Arthur! How have you been? Long time since we last saw each other, eh?" Arthur notices that the man was his old neighbor from the trailer park. "Hey, Jack I didn't notice you. Have you gotten taller?" Jack growls at Arthur. "I see that you haven't changed, hmm? Well I got to go Arthur, nice seeing you, here contact me when you can, alright?" "Sure Jack, nice seeing you." The bus was about to leave when Jack nocked on the door to be let in. The bus leaves with Jack on board. Arthur sets on his way home. He walks looking at the card his friend gave to him reading the number. He reaches the trailer park, the trailer park was old and most people who lived there was also old. Trash litters the ground, mice are not uncommon one look at a trash can you can find about eight mice in every can. His trailer was not much different. The steps were gone, he had to step on a chair to get up into his home. Arthur lays down in his bed looking blankly at his ceiling, his eyes grew more heavy and tired. He finally closes his eyes and started to sleep.
